The Global Search feature helps you quickly locate information across your TESSR workspace such as scenes, projects and team members all from a single location.

It helps you save time by reducing the need to manually go through different modules and pages, ensuring that you stay focused and efficient.

1. Access Global Search

There are two (2) ways to access the Global Search feature:

  1. Hover to the top right corner of your dashboard and click the 🔎 Search Bar, located next to the Insights button.
  2. Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + K to open Global Search instantly.

2. Navigating the Global Search feature

Hold the ‘Ctrl’ key on your keyboard to open your selection on a new browser tab.

Once you open Global Search, a pop-up window will appear. The window is divided into three (3) main sections:

  1. Top: Search Bar
  2. Left: Search List/History
  3. Right: Filters

2.1 Search Bar

The 🔎Search Bar helps you quickly find what you're looking for.

  1. Click on the 🔎Search Bar.
  2. Type in a scene title, project name, or team member’s name and the results will update as you type.
