The Insights module provides key performance information of each individual team members. This module help members understand their own progress and help managers gain a clearer understanding of overall team dynamics which enhances transparency in collaborative experiences.

1. How to Access Insights

With TESSR, you can view 2 type of Insights:

  1. Your Own Insights:

    1. Hover to the :icon---custompeopleinsight:Insights button at the top right corner, next to the 🔔 notification button.
    2. Click the button to open your Insights overview dashboard.

  2. Other Team Members’ Insights:

    You can only see other members’ Insights information if:

    1. You are from the same team.

    2. You share the same project(s). </aside>

    3. In your Insights dashboard, click on your name to open a drop-down menu.

    4. Select the user you would like to view or search for their name in the 🔎Search Bar.

    5. Click on their name to open their Insights dashboard.

    Alternatively, other member’s insights can also be accessed through the Review, My Work, and Project Directory pages.

2. Navigating Insights Dashboard

On the Insights pop-up dashboard, you will see multiple sections with their own functionalities.

2.1 Basic Information (Top bar)

The top section of the Insights dashboard will display the following details:

  1. User’s Name - Shows the current User’s name you are viewing.

    To view a different user:

    1. Click on the name for a drop-down menu of name list.
    2. Select the user you want to view.
  2. User’s Email - Shows you the user’s email.

    This is copyable via the :icon--customcopyto:Copy icon when you hover over the email address.

  3. Profile Share Link - Share the user’s Insights dashboard to another team member.

    To share a profile:

    1. Hover to the :icon--link:Copy Link icon on the right-end corner of the dashboard.
    2. Click to copy the link for sharing purposes.
  4. User’s Team - View which Team the user is part of.

    1. Hover to the blocks beneath ****the :icon--link:Copy Link icon to show the team names.

2.2 Essential Tools (Left Side Bar)

If you are on the same team as your teammate but not sharing the same project, you will see a notification indicating the number of private tasks on the :icon--photovideo:Assigned Tasks tab. This ensures the confidentiality required in several creative sectors.
